Since I didn't receive a full-time contract for the 2013-14 school year, but have had a few substitute teaching positions go for a week or more, I created this page to showcase some of the projects I developed, to keep the classes going, when there wasn't any curriculum.
- My most recent Substitute position (from January 16 through June 17, 2015) turned into a Temporary Contract at Mission Hills High School in San Marcos, CA, teaching Digital Photography and Computer Graphic Design. GrizzleDesign.org is the site.
- The most significant one was at Lincoln High School, where, due to the fact there was no curriculum provided the students for the two weeks I subbed, I decided to teach students how to create a website using Weebly. Using the same worksheet we developed at Kearny High School for online Portfolios.
- At the School of Creative & Performing Arts, in Chula Vista, California, I was a long-term substitute teacher, from December 2013 through May 2014. I created a site called, "SCPA•jr" for the middle school art classes, showcasing the months of artwork generated by our students there.
- I created this page as a lesson plan for a job interview at Caesar Chavez High School in downtown San Diego in October 2013. I didn't get the job, but have a quick lesson plan for subbing in a Graphics class.
